No expense spared on the graphics engine used... reminds me of Virtua Racing on my old SEGA Megadrive.

Mind you, Donington's one was quite fancy, and look what happened there!

Can't wait to try it out for real. :driving:

SO when is the first bigpower track event on the new track??
No idea about a private event yet. Members on here have already signed up for events from Feb 19th onwards

Don't think it will reduce our choice Harry; quite the opposite Sir.

With the old Ford, my heart says :driving: but my head (and Mr H) says :beatdeadhorse5:

It needs to be on it's best behaviour once the weldings done, or this year will be it's final outing in my hands.

For some reason I cant get any video on my laptop except Youtube ones. I just get a blank box with the little symbol in the top left corner. Is it something to do with the settings on the lappy? Anyone know how I sort it? :D
I may be getting older but I REFUSE to grow up :D

Interesting simulation. Great to virtually drive the new track although not sure how accurate it is.

Funny there was hardly any slowing down in the first part of Esses and the bombhole looks flat!

Still good to see though.

Probably locked down by your Mrs to stop you researching your 'specialist' sites :)

It's only a representation. Unless they have extended the back straight by about half a mile :) I notice how inaccurate the suspension settings and downforce were too ;) Also the grass at Sears is swept the wrong way. Bloody simulations! Pah.

Flatness presumably an artefact of the simulation, as I understand that bit is unchanged. I think the racecars brake less than many road cars for the Esses, carrying more corner speed with a firmer setup and able to brake through the lefthander. On my old 250 bike the fastest line was to brake deep into the apex of the lefthander.

I would imagine entry speed to Esses to be similar to before, as the straight is slightly shorter but the corner onto it is more open.

Good pic of new/old circuit here http://news.bbc.co.uk/local/norfolk/hi/ ... 031824.stm
