Well done Logan, on a good result. :thumb:

Beating Mike B is as good as FTD any day and normally would be. :-D

Thanks Uncle Gee

As I say tho, Mike was struggling with his brakes so its not something to boast about, I'm sure he'll be back on song with a change of pads etc.

Logan still well deserved carn t take that away from you, but very impressed with the hancook rs 2 a very good tyre. as for the k sport what a set of brakes they are, once i get them working right, had the sport pads in that come with the 356 kit. They just grabed and lock the wheels instantly. [Excuse time now] As at honnington its a fast place when i was approaching the braking area would touch the pedal they would start to brake then instantly lock, so was having to ease the pedal but use most braking though the gearbox.[excuse over] Will now source some alround pads probley going to go with mintex so if any one can help with these k sport 8 pot fronts and 2002 sti 2 pot brembos rears.

Have a chat to Gary at APT Mike. He's very familiar with the K Sports as that is what he uses on his own Evo 7. I too use the K Sports and the DS3000's are good if somewhat tricky to modulate. I also have to allow for the fact that I have very old knackered rear brakes and size 12 feet

Nice to hear that the day went well overall and interesting to hear about the Hankook's Mike. Very interesting.

What a great day for a sprint! I spent the afternoon swapping suspension struts in the sun.

How would you rate the RS2's, compared to RE070 or to proper track rubber like A048/888's, Mike?

I liked the RS2 a lot, and ran them on the road too, not caring about wear-rate since they're so cheap. Unfortunately that was the car I crashed last year so I didn't have them long. Now running RE070 on my track wheels, but I can't compare them directly as I'm in a different car with more power, dccd, different ARB and 225/45-17 instead of 205/15-16.
