Could use it on the revamped website?Gerry H wrote:ESL wrote:Fab stuff. Can I nick that Gerry?
You can now that I've corrected a couple of spelling errors
Can I ask why you want it?

Excellent info Gerry, its like your Dad
All that is missing is "and remember to stay out there kids"
Also, you forgot to remember to mention that its worth turning up nice and early to either walk the course or cycle round it, a few of the chaps take bikes. As seeing the course first hand is very handy I feel before you attack it in anger and at speed, as you only get 4 runs on the day.
Some events do a convoy run at the start of the day when you follow a marshalls car around at slow speed to allow you to sort out where you are going, but this isn't that common due to time constraints on the day :!:

It wasn't intended for the likes of you Logan. It was painstakingly done to help and encourage those (like we once were) who want to get into some form of motor sport but haven't a clue how to and whilst doing so, following the ethos of Big Power to promote the safe use of our cars. It's the first rung of the ladder but has the biggest step

The fact that you have raised some very useful points is what I was hoping would happen. As you know, when you're familiar with something it's all too easy to overlook a detail or two. It wasn't meant as a definitive instruction, just a guide.
Maybe you could edit any useful posts and cut them together at the top Dunk?dynamix wrote:Made it a sticky in this section :thumb:

Definitely hold you to that one.blacky wrote:PS I will buy the first round of Teas![]()

My plan was to spend the next couple of months sorting the car, as I haven't touched it since the clutch went and then do the B19 shakedown sprint in early March. Hadn't thought about a track day. I'll see if I can get it ready sooner and let you know.blacky wrote:PPS You doing any trackdays in Feb, I am still in credit with Javelin and am lookinga t getting out there and seeing if I can still drive :!:
PS. We've done the usual and gone completely off topic
