Cheers buddy! No need for sensors til I get the ECU powered back up. Just got to find offending relay/fuse/wire!

Pah, if you were a true racer, you'd just run a wire straight from battery +12V to the ECU :wink: :o

That said, most racers do have extinguishers close to hand for when the wire melts and sets fire to everything...

On reflection, probably best not to do that :lol: hope you can get it fixed for the weekend!

Those were the days when you could 'hot wire' a car by running a +12v to the coil and push the button on the starter solenoid of non pre-engaged starter motors.

Then 'electronics' appeared and it all went downhill from then :(

Ok, think I got it. Its the main relay, which is a bugger to get to. Naturally Subaru want to compare codes with IM and will get back to me in a week (or not at all in my experience). Anyone got a pre96 scoob they dont mind having immobile for Sunday :)
