would love to have a go but the GTR would fail the noise limit unfortunately. am also competing in the Aldon Sprint challenge this year too with the mr2, so probably would be up for it next year! :)

Hi all

Andy is away for the weekend, but I'm the official organiser, so should be able to answer any questions for you!

The noise limits are set by the MSA, but the rounds are organised by individual clubs and may impose a stricter definition. The blue book states the noise limit as being 108dB(A) at 0.5 metres, 45 degree angle to the exhaust. (They are usually more relaxed than track days, as there are fewer cars on track at any one time). There are no additional limits at North Weald or Silverstone, I can try and chase the regs for the other venues to see if there is a stricter limit.

I dont think 108db will cause you any problems Stu.
