Snetterton 300 Saturday 19th
Ok, some bullet points.
New circuit is great. New Corum is not quite as tight as i had expected and the exit from old Russell is much better. Not alot of run off in the new infield part as some people found out!
A fair amount of red flags, but some were to be expected of course. Top marks to the MSV crew for their quick clearing up.
Weather was pretty bad, but not as much rain as forecast. Visability was terrible when in spray of cars ahead. This made overtaking tricky.
Jon's car had awesome pull on the straights and was struggling for grip even with 4WD!
Thanks for the comments about the Metro. Yes it did me proud yet again. I have not touched the engine, but have done some work on the brakes & suspension. Not the quickest thing out there, but embarrasing some serious stuff on the brakes and the bends due to the conditions (glad i ran road tyres) and even doing well on the straights having the legs on Elises, 7's, Z3, Boxter, Pulsar, Imprezza and others. As Nik said it is extremely stable and predictable now.
All in all a great day for me even taking into account the weather and the stoppages.
Let's see a few more BP cars out there soon.

I didn't realise so many BP members were there on Saturday, it's a shame I didn't get to meet any of you, there's always next time though I suppose
Jon - were you in the blue Impreza with the BP sticker on the boot?
I was in the standard looking dark blue Saxo giving fast eddy some free advertising on the back bumper
Absolutely loving the new circuit and really looking forward to getting to grips with it over the coming months
