Jase.
Engine feels nicely responsive Jase.

I phoned because for the first time ever, I didn't need any of the spare oil. You don't know what a relief it is to undertake a journey and not have to tip a litre or so in at every fill up. I asked Mark whether he'd seen any reasons for the excess consumption. When I last saw the short engine, the bores looked good and there still seemed bugger all clearance on the pistons.

He said there were signs of a pretty big leak from the rear crank seal or gudgeon pin access covers.

fantastic weekend

This now being my third time at marham and loving it. Ive been trying to upgrade something on the car for each one, but unfortunately the suspension i put on in august has failed, not just one but all four struts. Unfortunately getting the new parts in time wasn't going to happen :x so it was either miss the weekend or put on the standard suspension, so with ians (an200sx) help on it went friday afternoon. Had a great time on the saturday, and managed to get my 17's on and wear them in a bit :-D .

On the sunday when i finally got there stevevr6 very kindly took me out in his golf and then came out in mine to give me a few tips on driving  not sure what was going through his mind when i took a corner too quick and got t very sideways :-D ceers for that steve. In the afternoon it started to rain which made tihngs interesting, oversteering a golf out of bends put a smile on my face  i decided to cal it a day when my wipers didn't work too well over 70 mph and went home whie my daily runner was still a daily runner :-D

Cheers to the guys who organised this and the raf for yet another superb weekend.
