Just thought about that, 8 clubs and Birkett are the obvious ones. Because I once had a national A Race licence, apparently the nause to renew is lessened. The Chief Instructor at Mallory is a regular at Barkston and said he'd give me a hand.
Spence was thinking about promoting a race series like the All Nippon Logan and use the JISC as a feeder, but looks like someone beat us to it.

More than happy for someone else to do all the work in setting up a race championship
They would probably have a different vision - I liked the idea of race grids of rice rockets all using air restrictors to around 250-350bhp (depending on weight). I figured that should keep costs down but give sufficient power to be interesting (running around touring car BHP). I think the All Nippon crowd have taken a different approach, I will watch closely with interest!
Regarding the Birkett, I originally thought about that as part of the traditional Harrow entry (or a Harrow B entry), but then got thinking... there could well be an all Nippon, or RAF MSA entry... then got to wondering whether there are enough racers on Big Power? Could have a Big Power Birkett Relay Race entry! Now that would be 8) !!!
