Skyline Owners Club track day @ Llandau 21st Sept'

Post by Bubble »

SOC are having an activity weekend, starting off with a trackday @ Llandau in Wales on the Friday 21st September. We are then camping overnight at an SOC owners land, then a drive out and possibly some karting too.

Llandow is situated 20 miles west of Cardiff in the Vale of Glamorgan near the country towns of Cowbridge and Llantwit Major

As one of the smaller Circuits in the UK, Llandow offers a unique opportunity for Novice and Intermediate users to enjoy some technically challenging corners in a controlled environment.

Llandow Circuit is a privately owned and family run venue just 20 minutes west of Cardiff, South Wales, UK. Primarily a test facility, we also run regular track days for both Cars and Bikes and host the perfect location for photo shoots.

We are struggling for numbers for the track day. Llandau only allow 10 out on track at any one time, so we think that about 20 drivers should be ideal. We have decided to open the trackday to other clubs and of course BigPower was the first choice 8)

List so far from SOC:

1. Gordon - Track
2. Carpetman (keith) - Track
3. Aha - Track
4. Andy w - Track
5. Gareth - Track
6. Bubble & Honey - Track
7. Paul- Track
8. Car32 - Track
9. NeoGTR - Track
10. marroon-sky - track
11. Warick Hunt is back - Track
12. bren - Track

Very best of luck for the event Geoff. The circuit looks great and the 'weekender' should be a good giggle. If it weren't for business commitments I would be there like a shot.

Ive got to do that.

The timings about as bad as you can get, we have the final round of Time Attack on the 2nd, Im then going to Spain for my jollies, flying straight from Spain to Sweden to get picked up by Kev, Mike and Steve in the Skyline and the two Apex Time Attack S13s for a Swedish 200SX race meet over the weekend of the 15th and 16th to land back in Uk on the 18th to come to this track day on the 21st to then trailer the Skyline to the Nurburgring on the 29th followed by possibly shipping it out to Japan on October the 6th to compete in the Japanese Time Attack! :o :-D :-D

How do I put my name down for the track day? Ill pay the deposit, if I blow the Skyline up at the various events then Ill bring something else :)

Clucking Bell Bren thats quite a schedule. Saw your post on DW re the prep for TA. Tim was looking VG at NW before the driveshafts stopped play.

We changed the driveshafts. Both of them, on the pit straight, in 13 minutes. Just in time for Tim to get back out and bring home 4th place for us! :o 8) :-D
