That's a pity Ben and hope it didn't put you off doing another? It's usually best to say something on the day so that those running the event can point out, to the perpetrator, the error of their ways. :o

Overtaking into corners is definitely not allowed on track days and also not in the braking areas either, as Stu mentioned in the briefing. It's only allowed on the straights and usually by consent of the slower car.

You don't get that sort of behaviour on sprints, it's a sport for gentlemen :D

you're right, it was only when i discussed it with 'ESL' yesterday that i realised i should have bought it up on the day. being new-boy though i didn't want to appear that i was telling people what's what on my first outing! i haven't been put off by this but it has made me want to build my confidence a little more at sprints (the sport of gentlemen  ) before trying another track day. so it's all good!

It's not a question of telling tales. It needs to be a safe environment for everyone to enjoy it. There's enough to think about, particularly at the end of the Revett straight without having to worry about some clown trying to overtake. :x (in an 06 Scooby) :D

Gerry - it wasnt me for sure - I dont do any of those kind of overtakes - did go round the outside of two people at coram though that had indicated and backed off inviting me to do so.... bit hairy if I am honest.

Ben - I am glad you still enjoyed the evening :thumb:

Not unless you've suddenly developed 4wd :D

Better not say any more about Saturday or Dunk will accuse the sprint brigade of hijacking another thread :D

See you Saturday :thumb:
