Forum Widow seeking others

Hi everyone
I thought it was about time I joined you all on the forum and introduced myself. I am the long suffering partner and forum widow :roll: of Jay (blackskygtr).
I finally managed to kick him off the internet for long enough to log on and introduce myself!!!!!

(He is currently crying in a corner)
How many other widows are there on the site as I am sure there must be quite a few. It would be cool to talk to you all and compare notes!!! :roll: :roll:
Whilst Jay may claim ownership of the car, I have an equal if not majority interest in the car, seeings I have not yet been able to drive it due to it's obsession with Gary at APT!!! The car that is not Jay (as far as I'm aware!!!!).
It appears (for now anyway) we have some secure plans for the car although I have heard this so many times inthe last few months I'm not counting my chickens!!! :roll:
All I do know is it will be back on the road for summer next year complete - running and under my control, so hopefully it may last more than three months.

Will see you all in November at Snetterton in the meantime please say hi

I am sure that you will find some other widows here - my wife isnt allowed out of the kitchen though

- nah seriously though she loves it and so long as we have enough to feed ourselves, pay the bills etc she loves motorsport

She is number 1 fan and with my daughter will be up at 6am to come up to the trackday next weekend

Welcome to the site - sure the car will be awesome when it is back on the road

Lol I ended up looking after her with Alexb for most of the evening while Ben was chatting !!!

Have also known her for years...a bit longer than Ben I think.... :P

Emma has been to a couple of meets but generally as long as she isnt standing in the cold and gets food and drink she never minds !!!

Maybe if we suggest another kind of meet like bowling etc the other halves will come !!

Although I dont think she will be up for Paintballing !!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a plan bowling would be good, I have to admit do still like the car meets it's just the endless hours sitting watching TV while Jay trawls all the message board that bore me!!!!!

and put all the keys in a pot and have a prize draw

WAG's or HAB's can come along to the main meetings or better still to the track days and be used as ballast to slow quick people down
