Welcome to the site Jay

Looking forward to seeing and hearing more about the car(mark 3?) You'll have to pop along to one of the events when you get the chance :thumb:

Well to be honest the whole story can be found on GTRoc but the short version goes like this
Buy fresh import and have it serviced by someone who sets boost at 1.5 (std tubbies blow at 1.1+)
Blow fist set tubbies and get away with it
Fit second hand but good tubbies but not learnt about the 1.1bar rule yet
Blow second set and dont get away with it
Destroy pistons rods and bores
Lose faith for a year and then find APTuning :-)
Start rebuild of engine and get carried away
Run in new engine on new steel tubbies and its like honey
Spin a shell and back for a new crank and rebuild with some more nice bits for good measure
Run in fresh engine now like honey with big nuts in
Write off the car due to frazzled hicas computer and right foot
Buy car from insurers and strip all the good bits sell of the rest
Buy new car sell dead engine etc and fit my engine
Get caught up in the hunt for power and sell small tubbies to use the HKS2530s off the replacement car
Find out they are buggered and spend 9 mths deciding what to do
Big single or complicated twins
Car in driveway dead waitin for me to spend circa 5 k on it AGAIN
