Was pointed here by Gary @ APT, the priotities of the club appear to be like mine so I thought I would join up, it appears quite a few SXOCers have also called by

I'm the Trackday organiser for SXOC and in the past 12 months we been to many UK tracksd including Brands, Castle Coombe, Silverstone, Donnington, Oulton Park, Cadwell park as well as some airfields and the like. Recently got back from a Euro-trip that took us to Spa-Francochamps (in the wet  ) and a few days at Nurburgring. The ring was also wet, and has left me with some work to do over the winter in repairs, although I did drive home and used it bent for a trackday the other week - well I am an addict :-D

I am allergic to Front wheel drive

I also do a little sprinting, even got some silverware, and aim to do more next year - funds allowing

I'm based up North, Lancashire, where we drink Tea by the pint :!:

My Cars
I have a 1999 S14a 200SX, which is my daily drive, I do a fair amount of milage so its LPG converted to make it as cheap to run as a scrabbly oil burner. Running in the region of 260-280bhp and handling to match, full specs are here

I also have a S13 200SX, which is my toy, and heavily modified for the track, engine is one of Gary@APT's works of art similar power to my daily drive but the emphesis on this car is handling and stopping. Caged, Slicks - its a fantastic track weapon and brings me lots of joy.

I have various vids and pics of myself and other SXOCers on track located on a fast host here

Welcome to BigPower SM - looks like we will all get along just fine and dandy :D

You have to tell the story about the damage at the ring though, you cant get away without it now :)

Well, have you seen the BMW ring guide?
Look what it says about the exit of Hohe Acht / Crest at Hedwigs Hohe, particually aimed at Porker owners, but I did exactly what it said you have to watch out for doing
Basically lost the rear at slow speed in the wet on the camber change, some fishtailing over the crest, road bends slightly , I went straight on - still fishtailing into the barrier ...

Pics speak better for the damage (linked as they are large)

So bought a rust-free car, but its an Auto with blown engine - so all the good bits will be swapped over, polybushed at the same time and back next year as a better car :D
