Thought I'd introduce myself, im shane and i drive a corsa. Sort of new to this forum been lurking around for a while and been to a few meets and events with my dad who is a member on here (dave-gto). Im 18 and a car mechanic, i do believe my place of work looks after some of the members cars on here. Onto the car, yes its got a big boom box in the boot and some loud speakers, has alloys and has been lowered. So call me a 'chav' if you will (most people assume so). Ive upgraded the brakes for 284mm calibra turbo calipers discs and pads,(the reason for the alloys),and also i had a cavalier GSi come up for sale from a customer at work which i could not refuse, and this is what brings me here. ive taken the engine out of the cavalier and im curently rebuilding it ready to put into the corsa, once this is done it should be running approx 180-190bhp and will be dyno'd to prove. I hope to join you on some trackdays and hopefully a trip to the nurburg ring
sorry for the long intro

Welcome to the forum Shane
The word 'Corsa' in your username put the fear of Christ in me, but your mention of 180hp transplant and bigger brakes, son of Dave and track use have saved my ethics and your bacon!!
Keep us posted on the car and the first sign of neons, and your banned

:smilielol5:do not fear stuart i hate these just as much as you! the car is staying standard on the outside will be replacing the alloys with standard steelies at some point i want the 'sleeper' look, just need to find 15" 4 stud fitment to fit over my brakes then in with the engine and onto the track! cheers for the welcome
