Hi everyone. My name is Tim, I live in Norfolk very close to Snetterton.
I currently own a Evo 6 GSR, mod'd by myself in many places, but professionally tuned @ APT - where all the power came from really !! My max boost at 1.44 bar kicks out 366bhp. Also I have a SW20 Mr2 Turbo Rev 3 which is mod'd too claiming to have 280bhp. Mod's carried out on this one before I owned it so its supposed to roughly be that.

Been to a few Time attack & drifting events and seen a few tracks days happening at Snet. Few things at Brands hatch too. Never had a go myself yet....

Hi Tim and welcome to BP. You'll fit in well with the two cars but it's about time you used one properly :) Take a look in the Track Day section, there's a very good VFM day at Snetterton on 21st November and a good opportunity to meet up with a few guys too.

As this is a walker, rather than talker site, you'll need to scan the dyno sheets if you want to make claims of BHP, etc. And of course, get pics of your cars posted pronto! :D

Pictures of the Evo VI now added to my profile. Im just in the process of bolting back the Rays Split Rims after alloy wheel refurb for the Mr2 Turbo (fun job!!!) Once back on this weekend I'll get some pictures up of that too. Regards proof of BHP figures...well Gary's prints outs from the Dyno werent working when remapped but I took his word for it! Mr2 - as said its only claimed 280bhp as std the cars supposed to push out 241 bhp with the SBC II and few other bits I can see the claim, but its an old car so prob back to 241 again lol ! Who knows...another dyno run needed for both really eh.
Agreeded it'd be rude not to do Snet sometime!

Welcome in Tim, nice pair of cars there, I'm fairly new to track days, only have done a few myself. Get yourself along as soon as you can, you won't look back. Be careful what or rather when you go, I've been on really well organised ones with 99% courteous if fast drivers, and some with complete prats who cut you up at every corner. Cheap days can sometimes mean trouble, so I'd recommend you go on days when you know other drivers.
