Hello, BigPower.

Post by SlickShoes »

Noobasaurus from the Thetford/Norwich/Bury area checking in for the first time. I found my way here via small-talk from some other great forums I surf, and was simply looking for a bit more performance/track oriented lot, and a bit more active as well. Nothing wrong with a good, static car show... I just like some variety. ;)

So with that, hello. :D

I have several projects competing for time/money/effort these days, but at the moment my main quid-hoover is a little blue American two-door named Eva. She's mainly bolt-on with a mildly lumpy cam, and a will see a few new upgrades over the coming months, as I've been stockpiling some bits this summer.

Glad to meet you guys, and hope to catch a meet soon. ;)

Oh man, that is sweet :)

I seem to remember seeing this at the Time Attack round at Snetterton last year. I was on the gate handing our VIP guest passes........if it was your car, you nearly got one by default!

Welcome on board.

Bloody hell that's nice. Why can't the Americans make cars like that?

Welcome to BP

Maff- Lol, good catch...and thanks! Most don't key in on it so quickly. :)

Tk- Haha... ;)

Stuart- Regarding the Time Attack at Snetterton, guilty as charged. Thanks much for the compliments. I had a great time out there. I did not expect a visually stock Chevy to bring much of a presence, but it did generate some great conversation with a few curious on-lookers. I'm a chatty guy by nature and love to talk cars, and the folks at Snetterton that day couldn't have been any friendlier.

Gerry H- Thankyou! I was under the impression the car was made by Americans though... ? :?

And thanks again to all for the welcome. Much appreciated.

Nice :D

I am presuming you reside at the base at Lakenheath.
