Hi from an old bloke

Post by purmog »

Hi everyone I'm Pete , I'v been into cars for 35 years but only been able to afford strange one's recently. In the past I've ownen a V8 minor, a V8mk 1 zodiac ,a 1972 grand torino sport and one or two others. I've now built a 1936 morris 14 hotrod.it first had a rolls royce 4 ltr engine with twin turbo's but it melted a piston at the hot rod drags at stratford so i've replaced it with a jag 4.2 injection.Later in the year when funds allow it will get a whiff of gas just to liven things up a bit. Me and a mate are also building a bmw535 manual track day car for lots of sideways fun. looking foreward to seeing you at snetterton on the 11th.Pete

A Gran Torino?? :o Wow :notworthy:

Welcome to the forum Pete. We have all sorts of automotive shapes and sizes on here from V8 engined Jap stuff, high powered Mini's, track stuff like you'd expect and really high powered drag stuff (9 litre Dart engined new shape Mustang for example)

I look forward to seeing you and the car at the meet :)
