Hello all, I met Duncan the other day and he said about this site so came on to see it for myself - i really like it.
Have a Mk2 Golf with 20vt engine, lsd, emerald management, brembos, pace charge cooler and all that jazz. May need to sell it shortly (haven't even taken it on track yet either), but hopefully replace it with a real budget project which I'll aim to get on track at some point. I'm not an experienced track driver but have enjoyed all the times I have had out there and defo want to do more in the future so hopefully this site will help keep me motivated to do that. Anyway, nice to err, meet you all!

Thanks guys - you're right about that engine in a Mk2 too Rolty. It was a battered old black Mk2 I remember seeing at Brands Hatch years ago that inspired me... it was going out in the Pro session with Beetle Cup cars and left them all for dead. The guy driving it was about 70 too!

Welcome on board Millsy

Keep us posted on the new project. Our range of cars and experience levels should be quite useful to anyone looking to do something a bit different (twin turbo V8 1UZ roof chopped Volvo Amazon for example)

The Golf you refer to at Brands...........a long shot but that could have been Trevor or Maurice Reeve. Known to pedal all sorts of VAG products around UK circuits at very silly speeds :)

Not sure what the guys name was - but very silly speeds were definitely about right!
