Hello from another M3 nut

Post by cyclonic »

Hi all,

Just signed up as i heard a bit about this forum so thought i would see what it's all about.

I race in the BMW Kumho Championship in Class A, so if it's racing BMW's you want to know about I can probably help you out.

You'll be pleased to know that there are several M3 nuts on here :) And not all of the nuts on here drive them........

I am sure that your race experience and knowledge of set up on the car will be very popular (expect your PM box to fill up :) ) as there are a growing number of us that either have or will be getting them, specifically for track use.

How long have you been racing your car? Also, if you don't mind cobbling together some pictures of the car through its stages of development, I'm sure there would be some interest in that.

Before that I was a trck day addict for five years. I ve always used the same car, It started as a nice road car and now is a fairly capable racecar, still more i want to do to it as and when funds allow!!!

Welcome to the forum Piers, nice looking car, good to have another BMW nut on board!
Are you part of BMSport, or just supported by them?
I only ask as there's plenty of assistance on here for the Jap stuff , but not quite as much for german metal.

BMsport support me and the car, but to be honest If I don't know the answer I can find out pretty quickly.

Good to see some familiar names over here, any other good projects underway by people on here?

Haha

One or two :)

Have a look in the relevant section. We have everything from 1300bhp Mustangs, twin turbo Volvo hotrods, Minis with 300bhp.........you name it and there's a good chance one of the guys on here is modifying it.
