Hello all.

Hello

I was told that there where some pics on here of mt R32 GTR on fire so i came over to have a look. I have seen that there are a few people i know on here already so i thought i would say hello.

I built my R32gtr from a bare sheel incuding my own engine. I'm running in the pro/street drag serie this year and I'm joint first place after 2 rounds. My personal best is 11.3 @122 mph and that won me a trophy  Car still has some mor eto give so i know it will get faster. Car is currently running around the 600bhp mark and goes very well. Jts was my first time on track in a gtr and it was a learning experiance. Heading into copse at 150+mph and trying to srub speed off was a bit of a nightmare with stock r33 brembo on the front.

Anyway hope to get on track with you lot again if I'm allowed to have another go at it.

Got some vids of the car before it caught fire going round.

Yea cars fine. Drove it home with no powersteering now that was hard.

Worst thing is i just took my extinguisher out so that it wasnt banging around in the car

Just got to try and clean it up now. Most of it i got off at jts but there is still loads of it stuck in all the little holes.

Theres mini's on here as well. I'm in heaven. Love the things to death. I used to work at mini speed ages ago.

Just got some good news. I ad a bad bike crash last september and the other partie solicitors have just admitted full liabillity. So i will be getting some money back.

So if i get a good pay out i will clear my debts and try my hardest to get into TA next year

Cheers for the welcome guys

Best of luck fella. We have quite a few TA guys on here (around 25) so I'm sure if and when you're serious, there will be loads of people happy to help with advice, planning and feedback.

Amongst our regular visitors we have everything from tuned Minis, serious American muscle, British sports cars, full on racers, Euro smut and the regular 700bhp Evos and genuinely powerful GTR's and Imprezas too mention a few.

One of the guys is even building a classic Volvo hotrod.....roof chopped and turbo's :wack:
