Hi Folks,
Jon's the name - been promising Rob Barnes a Time Attack car for the last 2 yrs now so hopefully it all comes good.. next year ;).. sorry Rob - will get it there eventually.

Car still in bits - being built in Wales - ex-750MC car, British Chassis with imported cup v8 from Texas and racing porsche trans from California.. she's an ex-Roadsports car but we're building her to blue book/TA regs and more like an enduro car.

Being rwd with no gizmos and very old school it's highlighly unlikely to be as fast as some of the 4wd cars in pro class (especially on only E cut slicks) - she'll run good in the n/a club class and hold her own with the other rwd cars; either way should make a nice contrast and interesting sight/sound to some of the other cars.

Thought a quick hello a good way to start as any.. if you do finally see me at the track then just say hello

Jon B, Scotland

John

Welcome to the forum. Your car looks the dogs bollocks!
It will be fantastic to see something a bit out of the norm instead of all of these bloody Jap bean tins. If you're able to keep us updated as per the progress, that would be superb.

See you around (hopefully on track)

Stuart

Intriguing.

This looks like it will be a bit of a beast when complete. What's the schedule?

Thanks guys

It's funny - car is old skool and yet being re-registered in 1998 is probably newer than some 'modern' jap machinery

funny old world ;)
