Hi and welcome.

A bit of info about you and your car would be an appropriate intro. :)

Well im from colchester, essex im a car detailer now but was a electrical /intruder alarm engineer. Im into anything technical and to do with cars, more into the rally side of motorsport.
I have had some rally training at Bill Gwynnes Rally School in Northampton and have driven on Prodrives test track in Warwickshire and enjoyed the high speed loop and tarmac rally stage. Have been told by instructors at Bill Gwynnes and Prodrive that i should get into competion rally driving but can't really afford it.
So now planning to do some track day driving with my own car.
My car is a Subaru Impreza UK turbo MY98 at the moment it only has decat exhaust and filter.
But im planning new ecu, bigger turbo, bigger injectors, bigger top mount intercooler looking to get to around 310bhp. Not sure what to do about the brakes yet at the moment it has Subaru 4pots on front and the 1pot standards on the back.
I would like to keep the car looking as standard as possible as i prefer it that way like to be understated don't want it shouting look at me if you know what i mean.

Hi Will,

Quite a few scoobs on here, and quite a few of us are into sprinting (see separate section on here, also 'JISC' section - Jap Intermarque Sprint Champs).

On the engine it might be worth considering a front-mount, given the deals currently on scoobynet. On braking, the 4-pots can be made to work quite well with good pads and fluid. Once you've got those working hard though, the rear 1-pots start to overheat (at least mine did, with their unvented disks, and got through pads at a silly rate). A good solution is to fit newage 2-pots on the rear, with brackets and disks from Godspeed. If you want to spend more, there are good deals on K-sport front and rear at the moment, again on scoobynet.

cheers
Andy

Im sure you mean Dasco as for the front mount was told that on anything below 350bhp aint really worth it as you get loads of turbo lag so im told.
Have read about fitting 2pots from a newage sounds like the cheapest option but im in no rush.
