Hi

Post by alwayzsidewayz »

I was introduced to this site by Bart From the XROC BB

My name is Rich, I am based in the west Midlands

Bart told me about this site, as we were discussing my first motor sport event of the year.

I am a competitor in the inaugural Toyota Sprint Series. I also intend to do a lot of track work with my other car as well.

I have a 1988 Celica GT4 ST165, ( it the first generation model) I have spent a lot of time and money  getting it to a high standard of modification, given what is essentially a fairly ignored and neglected model to tune.

The other car is a 1985 Ford sierra Xr4x4 which is remaining standard, but with as much mechanical elements refreshed as possible.

I am a novice driver when it comes to track and sprint work, so would appreciate as much help and guidance as possible, I would also like to do as many track days as possible to learn much more about track driving and car control. Hopefully this will lead on to me being able to be more competitive in the sprint series too.

Bart said you were all a friendly bunch :)

So hello...

Like the old Celicas. Rare and lots of character.
We have Fensport in our neck of the woods and a couple of members with well sorted Celicas so could be helpful.
