Names Richard, currently drive an Impreza Wagon on trackdays and soon on some speed events with the Hillclimb and Sprint Association. Located in High Wycombe so a bit far away from the Snetterton meets unfortunately.

welcome. Thats a nice wagon, makes a very quick understated scooby. Any mods so far for track use - other than the prodrive OZ wheels?

Thank you. So far... Cage, VF35 Turbo, Sports CAT and 3" exhaust, Prodrive Up Pipe, Comp Brake 330mm, 4pot brake kit, 255l/h fuel pump, FSE regulator, Ecutek 3, Leda B coil overs, Top and Bottom braces, anti-lift. Hopefully prior to my first sprint this year some slicks, competition seats and harnesses and a radical chucking out of anything that doesn't make it go, stop or turn or keeps me in one piece when it fails to do one of them! Next years plan is for an RA box, dccd and rear diff. You wouldn't happen to have one laying around by any chance? ;)

Welcome to BigPower Richard.

What sprint series are you doing - there are quite a few regular sprinters here ?

Hi Richard. Welcome to BP. Nice wagon and nice mods.

RA box will make it a bit wild, I had type R ratios in mine till I broke it at SSO last May. Wrecks your fuel economy and is a real pain at 4K rpm at 70mph. If you get one, keep your fifth gear.

Oh, and come and do some sprints with us. NorthWeald isn't that far from HW. :D

Welcome, not another Impreza   :D

If running on trick tyres you should sort a baffled sump :!: Otherwise you are at great risk of oil starvation. I managed somehow to do this on normal road tyres to a recently forged built engine :x

If you already have one then no worries.

Also, looking at your spec list you may be better sticking in the Production class and run with a full interior and on list 1A tyres. The boys in Modified production are rocking some serious power and specifications.

All depends on whether you want to be competitive or just go out and enjoy yourself :?:
