hi everyone on bigpower, I am new to this site but there looks like theres loads to read. my name is paul and I enjoy doing trackdays as often as I can. I use an MR2 and its a great challenge to keep the back end in line as they are renound for being tricky on the limit (its an absolute nightmare in the wet).I also have a catterham type racer which I am building as an onging project. what I would like to know though is where I can take my main car I use on the road for a top speed test (at least 2mile runway if possible), I have been looking around on the interenet and there is a little info but I cant seem to pin a date down. If anybody would be able to help I would be very greatfull. Anyway I will enjoy reading about everybodys projects in the months to come, thanks, paul

Welcome Paul.
We will be running a 30-130 day soon but top speed runs are difficult to come by. the last one we did was at Honnington down the main 4 mile runway.
Nice collection btw
Looking to reading about the caterham build :thumb:

Hi and welcome to BP. A couple of weeks sooner and you could have joined us at RAF Marham. The main runway there seems to go on forever and is uphill, so maybe not quite what you're looking for.

Welcome to the site. Marham is about one and a half miles long and we should there again in September if that helps
