Hello all. Found the site by way of Big Fil............ as he's my boss :-D

My names Pete and I live close to Colchester/Ipswich. Im currently in the process of building a XR2 track/road car although Im still a few months off finishing it yet.

Hope to get along to a few of your meets/track days soon :grin:

mk1 xr2 or mk2? my 1st modded car was a mk2 love it to bits i was only 20 when i got it, and got it sprayed imperial blue.

Well this was it when I first bought it for an obscene amount of money. Sadly it only lasted 5 miles before it decided to melt a piston where the inlet manifold hadn't been done up properly :(

Thanks for the interest guys.

Hopefully it will be on the road for the 1st April after been completly rebuilt.

ideal for track days, real good fun, I too had an MK2 XR2 for a short while, fun little car :-D
