New BP member IGGY

Post by iggy »

Hi everybody.

I have just recently joined this site (IGGY) and am very excited about the future of this site and the contacts/input this may bring.
I mentioned it to a friend of mine who has recently joined as well (evo 3).
We both are very into our cars (serious petrol heads) and have participated in trackdays for the last couple of years. We have been looking for a local club we could join so as to meet fellow like minded members who have the same interest as ourselves.
My main trackcars at present are Peugeot 205GTI 1.9/Mi16, Ford Mk1 escort and Sierra Saph Cossi. My colleague uses 205 GTI 1.9 and Sierra 4x4 2.9i. You may be wondering why is his user id EVO 3 which can only be explained as this is his new toy (bright Yellow) which he uses mainly as his weekend Fanny Magnet. He purchased it earlier this year from David at Henstead Motorsport and has plans on doing a few minor upgrades to it in the near future.
I am in the process of starting two new projects, 205 Dimma and Ford Mk1 bubble arched Escort of which i have plans to put a cossi lump in. I look forward to the contacts and input i will get from members of this club and look forward to going to a number of meets in the not too distant future.
I have heard alot about the Nuremburg ring and will definately be up for going with this club in 2008.
I am going on holiday abroad next week and wont be back until late July 07 but will plan on going to my 1st Bigpower meet at Snetterton on 8th August 07 so i can meet alot of like minded people.
I hope to put in and get alot from this club as it sounds just what me and my mate have been searching for and lacking in for a long time.
Please be patient with me if i dont understand/know my way around this site as it seems a bit daunting at first and there are alot of elements of this site which take time to digest.
When i get back from my hols i will definately become a full member as this site appears to be very professional and anyone who is serious about their cars will gain alot from this site.
I look forward to meeting the founder/s of this site and get to know you all.
Chow for now and a tyre burning, sideways future to you all.

Regards Iggy.

Welcome to the site young Jedi :)
Two of my favourite cars there........ the Dimma 205s are outstanding! Mk 1's are pretty cool too.
One thing you've got to do though Iggy is get the name right, the hallowed turf in Germany is called the 'Nurburgring'. Nuremburg is miles away from it :thumb:

Great first post and hope to see you soon
