Hi, I'm new here

Post by Scoobyweb »

Hi Guy's,

Joined the site a few days ago so thought I'd introduce myself. I came over from Scoobynet, Sort of followed Duncan (Dynamix) over. Trying to get some trackday's in this year, Particulaly the Ring. I know that Duncan likes his track action so I came over for a look. Also more chance of grown up chat on here than on SN. Will check-in daily to see whats happening.

Cheers, Chris.

Welcome to the site. If you've followed Dunk over, you're 10 months and 5000 posts late, so I hope you can stay closer on the track ;)

Grown up chat is something we strive for but hopefully you will find less that will make you think 'Oh, why do I bother?' I haven't used SN in years but I understand that there is still an enormous resource of decent info, so if we can get that bit without the spanners that tend to clutter up a lot of sites, we should do OK.

See you around

Hi Chris :D

and may I say what a great car and particularly rare colour ;)

As Stu says, we are more about walking the walk here than most of the keyboard jockeys on SN and not a PSLewis in sight :) Would be good to see you on track - are you booked onto any yet?

Not booked yet but I am probably doing the Isle of man in September, just waiting for the Mazda Rotary Club to get back to me. Went a couple of years ago when I had my RX8 and enjoyed it (Jurby track and mountain rd). MRC are going again this year so trying to tag along. Would have loved to have done Cadwell park with you guy's but I have missed it, great price buy the way.
Enjoying the Subaru emmensely, need to get modding but the wife keeps hassling me to get stuff done on the house so can't justify spending the money yet. Hope to by the end of the summer.
You will have to let me know what your mods are to give me some Ideas.
Probably go for a few suspention tweaks (arbs, geometry setup, droplinks etc) and one of the tuning company's packages, TSL/Powerstation.

Hello and :welcome: to BP Chris

Like the Scooby (I'm desperately hoping it won't be as quick as Duncan

There's nothing that shouts "Poor Workmanship" more than wrinkles in the Gaffer tape.....
