Hi all,

Been sent a link to you guys from Jamiep, so I'm afraid I'm a Supra nut too

Live in West Sussex and am hoping to do a few track days with the Supra this year - IF I can get past noise regs

Cheers

Matt

Oh, little pic of the car

Hi Matt and welcome :wave2:

Awsome Supra :thumb: Have you built it yourself or is it a genuine Trial demo car ?

Hi guys.

I'm right near Horsham :)

This is Trials built showcar, I bought it out of Trials showrooms last year. As soon as it got here, it went to gt-art for a complete remap on UK fuels. I then decided that if we're gonna map from scratch, then now's the time to put in a better ECU. So in went the AEM, and what an awesome bit of kit it is !

Spec is:
Performance:
HKS 264IN/264EX Cams
HKS Cam Gears
Blitz K5-660R turbo
HKS Evc Pro boost controller
HKS GT external Wastegate
HKS Air intake
HKS Fuel Rail
6 x 1000 Precision injectors
Twin Walbro fuel pumps
Trial Titanium exhaust
HKS Manifold
HKS Triple Plate Clutch
AEM Standalone ECU
AEM uego wideband
Blitz 4core Intercooler
ARC SMC55 radiator
HKS Oil Cooler
HKS Flywheel
TRD Differential
Blitz Iridium Grade 7 spark plugs

Handling:
Quantum race suspension
Uprated Anti roll bars
Brembo 340mm front brake upgrade
Uprated pads\discs (unknown make as yet)
Volks CE28n 18" alloys, 9.5JJ +40 front and 10.5JJ rear +45

Exterior:
Full and the original Trial bodykit including rear bumper\diffuser, side skirts, bonnet and front bumper.
Trial Carbon GT wing
Glass UK headlamps

Interior:
Recaro front seats
Full leather retrim front and rear in Red and Black with Trial embossing on front seats

The car is featured in Jap. Perf. this month 8)

Trial fully rebuilt the engine before building it up, but my Japanese is awful ! And so I don't know for definite if it has forged pistons, so I won't be exceeding 1.6bar. Trial claim to have made 640bhp at the rear wheels at 1.5bar on pump fuels, and I have the dyno print. I don't know if this is true, seems high for the turbo size, but I get full boost before 3500rpm and when we started mapping we get 400bhp at 0.6bar.

The car spent a lot of time at the garage last year, as I have changed a lot of the fueling\ecu etc, so I'm really looking forward to playing with it this year

Have done a couple of tutored trackdays at Thruxton in their Exige, but dying to get out there in my car.

Cheers

Matt

If you can get high resolution scans of the japanese paperwork, I have a Japanese friend who will translate to English if i ask nicely.
