ok people now i actually need your help. heres the details
so as i said before. it has just recently become hard to start when its already warm. quite hard really. and it has very low power in the start of first gear. no where else. from what i've already looked at im assuming low compression of one of the rotors or the fuel line?
what do you guys think?

Duane, firstly I would suggest opening a thread in our general technical area - that's where the mechanically minded hang out.

2nd, there are a few Rotary guys on here ... try Gareth (RX7) to start, he may be able to point you in the right direction.

Often Rotary's are tricky to start due to flooding, have you been starting it, then stopping it ... then immediately trying to start it?

got it lifted and the rims on now, will take pictures soon.
found out the hard to start was some plugged off vacuum lines.
looking in cf hoods right now because the paint is peeling so badly on the stock one
maybe sanding the current down to the aluminum i kinda like that look for a temp. fix

Hi mate, nice car. I do like FCs, there are some awesome bodykits out for them now !!!!

Difficult starting can be a number of things mate, it could be flooding (basically never start it and stop it eg getting out of a garage, you must leave it running for a few mins), it could be new plugs and oil change needed or it could be the dreaded low compression.

I'd drive it as much as you can and see how you get on, as said dont under any circumstances start and stop it immediately otherwise it will be a pain to start.

But the best thing would be to replace the plugs and oil if I'm honest.

I dont really know a lot about FCs, the engine block is similar but 'mazdarotaryclub.com' is a good forum and mixed with 1st, 2nd and 3rd gens so for detailed advice I'd look on there also in addition to our fine forum !

Once you get that sorted get a nice bodykit on it, lower it, get it out on the track and it will look a treat !!
