I thought the coincidence was too great- someone called Tom with "Valo" in their username, but was too shy to ask. :pmsl:

In fairness I think the crashes were down to Dan's "wiggy" connection.

I haven't been on Live for ages now (family issues  ), but we'll all have to meet up again soon, bud.

We haven't had Rainbow nights for a while- even The Bear has had to move on to COD4 and stuff now as the other's are a little bored of it. I think they're jealous of our Elite 10 status. lol

No doubt when Gears 2 arrives soon we'll all be on that every night instead. :-D

Digressing slightly, I played on the trusty PS3 today for the first time in ages, Resistance......the solitary game I own and you know what? It was shite  Dull, repetitive and predictable. No way I will bother with anything game related until there is a suitable war game, so it looks like COD 5, the return of the gun part 6 (or whatever the hell they will call it) will have to do the job.

Does 'Gears' look good or have they just concentrated on a duff, ambiguous control system to take gamers minds off of how shit the game is again.

I never played the original enough to properly get my head around the 'run and cover'-type system until I'd been playing for a few rounds- always ending up pressing the wrong button and getting melee'd/ hiding behind the wrong wall/ using the wrong gun. :x

The preview vids on Xbox Live look good, and apparently the game engine can handle hordes of enemies for huge battles!

I'm tempted by COD5 as everyone seems to buy them and I feel left-out, lol. Only thing I hated about COD4 was the annoying Perk where people drop a grenade as they die- I always fall for it. #-o

I think COD has gone a bit too far. In my opinion. COD2 was the best Nice simple all out shoot fest.
