:-D I have nothing against GTR owners - honest!!
I had a lovely midnight purple 33 GTR myself about 12 months ago but had to sell it to fund the GTST, great car the GTR & certainly the much more capable on the track.
I dont know I would just love to be proved right one day to see a GTST prove that RWD not 4wd is the place for a drag skyline.
Really looking forward to seeing yours take part at the events next year & would also be great if Garth finally gets his sorted..
Be interesting to see where things move to in 2007 - can only believe it's going to get quicker again - another 1/2 a second at least I think (very low 8's).
Was fantastic to watch Tim at the Japshow finale.

At the top end, which no doubt this year you'll occupy, I don't doubt you for a second. Good luck John, good luck to anyone thats got the bollocks to do it, rather than talk about it :thumb:

I am looking forward to next year to see the big guns slugging it out :-D ......there are so many strong machines going to running this year like Norris,Barnes,Tim and cowie etc....your self included..lol!

Trev and I were talking today about the class that he will be running in and its got some massive machines in it :o as you prob know..lol...and he thinks it will take him quite a while to learn how to launch a monster powered gtst but its going to be great experiance seeing all the waiting unfold and hopefully he gets some nice 'slips' :D

I won't be running mine much.........while its a competent track and street machine its a long way off the top of the ivory tower in the drag world  .........I will be spending alot of time at the strip spectating though and can't wait

I know - it's bloody exciting just thinking about this year with all of the kit that's out there waiting tobe unleashed
If i had my time again & with hindsight the IRS would have been dumped for a proper drag rear end at teh start but we wanted to keep the car as standard as possible for it's first year including the RB25.
Problem is though that the expense mounts & we went through 4 revisions of suspension last year & didnt move forward enough. It's all lessons learnt though & part of the learning curve.
Roly has made a sound choice with his rear & I cant wait to see his face when he does his shakedown runs - cheshire cat will be an understatement :-D.
I remember my first ever run last year at Shakespeare at Rotorstock - had never even driven on a sodding drag circuit before & we even put the line lock on the back by mistake :D - bloody thing squirmed the wholelength of the track & I crapped myself 13.5 secs & it was fantastic
