love that. power not paint lol, thats fantastic. saw a quote once that said never laugh at a car with bad paint and you wont go far wrong, thats my philosophy, i love driving a car that scares kids, granny's and pets. too much to spend under the bonnet without blowing cash on flip paint and dodo juice
Welcome to BP, good luck with the build keep us all up to date with your progress

Driving a fast Jap import is like coming out of the closet, you might surprise some people, but in the end you are still gay.

Fil's Mustang is a bit special. I won't spill the beans for him but suffice to say he's already busting easy mid 10's with no launch, short shifting and no nitrous
Oh yeah......and he's only driven it once in three years!!
Between him, max1, K1HKSarse and a few others you should be able to get any drag advice you need. In terms of preparing cars for track use, you should find no end of ideas or advice.

I've found the guys I've chatted with on BP so far to be good old fashioned petrolheads.
Friendly, informative and without the usual bullshit that you associate with forums.......you'll fit in just fine I reckon bud
Got any youtube clips of your previous runs, more pics, spec etc
I like the built for purpose look of your motor chief

We run up to the pod about 10 times a year mainly for the HKS drag series as the other guys run Japs too but also peak performance days and Webster race days.
Let us know when it's ready and join the convoy

cheers guys
cheers guys, i feel settled here. i never bothered taking video of my car as i never thought it worthy, will take some more photo's of it as i progress with it. thanks for the support, dont think i'll change the looktoo much when i'm done, i like the built to be nasty look too. fil that mustang is awesome, if you ever need a willing spanner monkey/tea boy dont hesitate to ask, same goes to anyone really. its run a couple of 12's before but mainly 13's and i would really like to hit high 11's but without blowing a fortune on it, mainly by removing as much weight as is poss. anything none essential must go. expecting another nipper in october so money is a bit of a hurdle but i just want to have fun. i'm really glad i found you guys, at last peolple who do it right:hurray:
