Boyzee,s R32 GTR
Thanks for all your posts,i cant make snetterton as its hard for me to have time off in the week. The spool up time is around 4350rpm the cosworth i had was fitted with a T4 and that had mega lag but the R32 is a lot more torquey.I will get some photos up as soon as i get some.I normally only get on line weekends because of work.My car is still fitted with standard brakes other than the pads so i will have to sort this out.I went to the ring last easter with my corvette but its a heavy car an being auto it soon ran out of brakes even a diesel merc saloon beat me!Can anyone tell me what the Higas red light on the skyline dash is for? Thanks again.

Re: Boyzee,s R32 GTR
It's the 4 wheel steer system on r32 - could be a simple as needing a top up on the fluid level - does it go out when in motion or does it stay on??boyzee wrote: Can anyone tell me what the Higas red light on the skyline dash is for? Thanks again.

Re Higas light
I was driveing the car last week on the A127 just doing about 70 mph in 5th gear, iput my foot slowly on the throttle and the car got well out of shape the road was just damp but i noticed the Hi gas light just flash on only for an instant. The light normally goes out when i start the engine and doesnt come on when driving.I have driven the car since and it seems fine but this did put me off abit
Re: Re Higas light
Mine developed a problem shortly after I bought the car - so I had it disconnected and the mechanism shimmed out - you might try checking the level - I do wonder if it comes on to warn you its active?boyzee wrote:I was driveing the car last week on the A127 just doing about 70 mph in 5th gear, iput my foot slowly on the throttle and the car got well out of shape the road was just damp but i noticed the Hi gas light just flash on only for an instant. The light normally goes out when i start the engine and doesnt come on when driving.I have driven the car since and it seems fine but this did put me off abit
