How do! :)

Post by Daz_Ten »

Ok folks, a quick and brief hello, don't want to bore anyone, I'm from the Lancashire area, happened to stumble across your site, it caught my eye so I thought I would call in, normally an old Skool car bloke, Scoobies, Evo 4, Integrale's, but after all of these I have returned to mitsubishi, an Evo x and I'm absolutely loving it, can't wait for the shows and Motorsport weekends to start. :hurray: hope we bump into each other somewhere folks, have a natter. :cheers2:

Welcome to BP Daz. Your in good company here, with several Evo's and a couple of monsters amongst them too. I'm not an Evo owner, but am sure some will be along before long to say Hi. (Forums only been back up a few days so it's a little quieter than usual)

Pics pics pics of the Evo. Always loved the look of them and how they moved the design just to make it different enough from the older models.

Welcome to the site.

Welcome to the club & site Daz  Lovely previous list of cars mate....how do you find the Integrale compared to the Evo 4? You'll have to get some details of the X up; as much as I love earlier models the X is superb in my eyes! I've worked on RS and FQ360's and the way they combine better build quality with raw performance is spot on in my opinion.

I will find some time ASAP regarding the X, as for the Integrale, still a great car today, a little heavy compared to today's standards and you seem to spend more time looking at the car, as opposed to driving it, but in the rally world will always be iconic, i originally owned the 16v Integrale, that one was lighter probably as quick, using the same engine 2.0ltr turbo, which I think all my cars have had those stats. :D
Here is one from early days of ownership.

And a more recent one before selling.

Those arch flares/shoulders look superb in white and the later alloys (Speedline's?) suit the car so well. Very, very nice. A true rally legend, and I'm sure when Trev sees this thread he'll be chomping at the bit :)

Welcome !

I remember years ago seeing the first integrale I was talking to the owner I asked what the red light on his dash was for he said it was the "feckin hell light" basically a shift light so when that was on you were shifting......then he went off down the road like a scolded cat popping and banging.......

Loved them ever since !

Maybe after market anti lag, but not a standard feature. ;)
