Just a little update about our new member Aaron...... I was having some fitted wardrobes fitted and Aaron was the chap who spent 2 very hot days working his nuts off doing a bloody good job for me...anyway his first words to me when he pulled up at my house were something along the lines of "bloody hell mate that car is lovely".......I think he was talking about the passat daily driver....
But as it was we got chatting and he was telling me about his Capri so I suggested ue got himself on here to join in the banter and chat...also explaining there is some love to be had for old skool fords.....
I have seen a picture of the car when it was in rude health and I have to say it looked good but he was saying that he hasn had time recently he hasn't had time to keep on top of things. ...but after chatting to him and giving him contact details of companies that can supply him with the parts he requires I think I have given him the incentive to crack on and get it back on the road.....

Any 2.8 Capri is a rare old beast, let alone one running a carb. Great to hear of some new metal on here. Loved my 2 2.8i's , please get some pictures up so I can pine for my old ones.
