A newbie thats been here before...lol

Hi folks,

Well its been a couple of years since I was last on here and since then have been thrashing around in a T Sport Yaris, used it for over a year in the Toyota Sprint series and have had great fun........................

<a href="http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y11/ba ... on2010.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y11/ba ... on2010.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

<a href="http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y11/ba ... =bark5.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y11/bazzagt4/bark5.jpg" border="0" alt="Barkston 2010 apr"></a>

But the draw of the bigpower has been too much and I have landed my self my 5th GT-Four. She is currently running around 290bhp and suspension is set up nicely for fast rd/Trackday use.

I hope to use this in the remaining events for TSS once I have sorted a few little problems out and look forward to getting back to some trackdays etc...

Hope to see some old faces at an event soon, I used to attend the early weds night meets at snet and even have my old polo shirt in the wardrobe....lol

Kind regards

Welcome back Sir :)

That looks like a nice example....the lads at Gofasterspares are breaking one if you need any bits ;)

How's the sprint series going? I understand that it's gone down a storm and the numbers are pretty good. Very well done with that by the way  Our own sprint series was a bit............crap :)

Look forward to seeing you at some of the events in the Summer

Hi Stuart,

Thanks for the welcome, sorry to hear the sprints are not working for you, we are also finding it hard to keep folk interested but we have some good sponsors that are helping with funding and allowing us to subsidise the events well for the time being, We have some spaces spare at our next events if anyone wants to try their hand against the big powered toyotas.

Kind regards

Hi and welcome back.

To be fair, the sprint series was pretty good. It encouraged a few members, who'd not tried competition before, to have a go and, without exception, everyone enjoyed it.

Unfortunately, it fizzled out because the handicap system was too complicated for anyone but the originator to understand or was it because no-one was ever told how it worked?
Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or hump it, piss on it and walk away!
