Thanks Daniel! It's not too well at the moment. I sure it will be fixed soon - just trying to source some parts (turbos) at not silly prices atm.

Welcome on board. I've owned a couple of Skylines (A 33 GTSt and a 32GTR) and I've started to hanker for a 33GTR again (amongst other things) The aesthetic difference with yours running a fair bit lower is amazing. Is that on coilovers or lowering springs?

What do you have 'under the skin'? Truly stock GTR's are rare so peoples little mods are quite different to one anothers. You had it long?

It may be worth you contacting Rob or Ben at Gofasterspares.com. The guys have had a few GTR's in recently for breaking, so they may have something sitting on the shelf.

Welcome in J, be good to see another Skyline out on track at some point.
I'm remember both of Stuart's vividly, great cars and Ben's one from this site is mint. (not seen the others in the flesh so can't comment)

Hey guys!

Thank you all for the very warm welcome :)

Not really had the chance to show her off really. Last event due was supposed to be November track day at Snetterton on the Saturday followed by being on the GTROC stand on the Sunday for Modified Live. Had to pull it as on the Thursday, she was putting oil through the turbos :frown:

Since then she's been layed up and I have been swapping the turbos out for R34 ones as and when I had time. Not really the right time of year for that kind of thing!

Got them on and finished yesterday (Sat 28th). Can't describe the jubilation I felt, especially having been relegated to the heady power of 150bhp pulling around a massive Pajero for the last 3 months (although I have to give the Pajero it's dues, it was an awsome machine in this ice and snow)!!!

Anyway, more misery was just around the corner. 20 minutes of pootling along the a47 off boost, I felt confident enough to have a little spirited fun and check for boost leaks. Got 3 or four boosts worth before I left a cloud of black/grey smoke about an 8th of a mile long behind me to the tune of *Pueeeeewwww*.

Needless to say, it looks like the ceramics gave out on boost and dispensed of the exhaust turbine rearwards. I kinda felt sorry for the cars behind me. :cuss:

Anyway, boost is a thing of the past for me, once again. With a little help, i'm sure i'll sort it. If anyones board and wants free beer, then they are more than welcome to come and help me out, shouting and cussing at the damn thing.

Here are the mods good people:
R33 GTR Skyline, externally in Standard Road Trim.
HKS Silent Power Exhaust System
De-cat
Baffled Twin Turbo Pipe
Apexi Twin Induction Kit
Tein Super Street Coilover Suspension
Driftworks Total HICAS Eliminator (rack completely gone, hubs modified)
Driftworks Rear, Upper Adjustable Camber Arms
HKS EVC-6 Boost Controller

How much of a difference these two make I have no idea:
Reconditioned Head, ported and flowed (supposedly so, according to the garage that rebuilt my engine way back)
Exhaust Manifold (looked to be fettled and matched to the head thats on now)
High Flow fuel pump, supposedly can support upto 700bhp. This might explain why she supported nearly 1.5bar of boost.

When she was running great on her oringinal turbos, I was seeing quite often seeing anywhere up to 1.5bar believe it or not (anything over and the clutch didn't like it much, go figure). Man did she fly!!! Contrary to believe, my ceramic exhaust wheel held out fine! I guess I got lucky because I don't think the R34 turbos appreciated it much.

I still can't quite figure the oil leak for sure and am starting to think perhaps the first set of turbos weren't the problem, maybe I should get the seals tested.

Hey Bladerider, yeah spacers hehe. This has been buggin me. I need 20mm hubcentric I think!

To be honest, I am a little deflated at the mo with the situation and can't seem to find a way out without having to throw mega bucks at it.
