Big Dan

Post by bigdan »

Hi there I'm Dan and I live in Luton (Bedfordshire). I first heard about BIG POWER when I met Duncan at the Nurburg Ring back in October 07. We happened to both be staying in the same hotel on the last day of the season and both big Subaru fans. This inevitably led to a lot of talk about cars and the circuit along with many units of beer being consumed! :P

The next day Duncan was kind enough to show me the line and give some pointers, helping me to get my current best time of 9mins 24 seconds in a standard WRX. He then took me for a round in his STI which was unbelievably fast and showed all the flaws of the standard WRX. It was following that ride that I became dissatisfied with what I had and decided an upgrade was desperately needed! My Scooby is currently in the garage getting a whole list of upgrades including a re-map, new suspension, AP racing breaks and exhaust... to name a few

Officially welcome Dan. It was a fantastic trip and I am pleased that you enjoyed the guided laps and passenger laps. Funniest thing was coming back in off that first lap with reams of smoke pouring off your brakes and the look on your faces... priceless :thumb:

9.24 is a great time for a standard car around there - certainly beating your target of getting less than 10 mins :D Thanks god the weather was superb that day.

I am sure Zak will do a great job and transform the car for you - he can work wonders 8)
