Thank you all for your kind comments, and for making me feel so very welcome, and apologies for slipping away a little early from Snetterton the other night - family stuff an' all that :( .

It was a real pleasure to be on the track with so many people that knew exactly what they were doing. In fact, I was probably the greenest out there!

Duncan, the turbo is a hybrid Garrett - can't remember the specifics at this time o' the morning but I know it was using a LOT of oil :( Oh! And who was following who? I spent my time following you to learn the lines (and then messed them up completely when you graciously let me pass  ))

I'm afraid I can't remember everybody's names, or the cars they were in, but I had a whale of a time. Nice to see so many ladies on the track too :thumb:

Thank you to you all for a great evening, and a mercifully short briefing (glad I brought a long-sleeved top!)

Fraser - have you got a catch can on the T25 or are the breathers plumbed into the inlet manifold as standard arrangement?

If it is std then you may want to look at the arrangement that I have that has cured the oil useage for me in my TA project thread:

ps - no worries about sloping off early, thats the beauty of these sessioned evenings ... I just happened to bring my family committments along with me as Rachel, my wife, wanted some passenger laps :D

Nice to see a T25 in the flesh, haven't seen one up close before. It certainly looked quick out of Russels past the pits :)

Welcome to the site and hope to see you at a meet soon

Thanks for that  The T25 I'm sure would have been much quicker if it had a proper driver in it

I don't have a catch can on the car I'm afraid, and to be honest I'm not sure where the breathers are plumbed in either :? I'll look at the TA project thread now. Also, I'll be going to RCM tomorrow to have a chat with them about a number of things (plus being invited to a photoshoot to put the T25 in a new magazine coming out soon). There's a number of things I'd like to change, money permitting, as I can see the need for both catch can and swill tank, an even bigger updated fuel pump plus a mandatory need to get some defi's fitted (cheap source through Performance Parts Online at the mo' unless you have any other sources I can look at?)

I'll let you know how I get on.
Cheers all...

VERY interesting thread, Dunk. I'll need to have a rummage in my piggy bank for a few mods, I think. I'm doing Silverstone on 27th August thru MLR and SIDC, so would like the issues resolved by then.

Is anyone else here at Silverstone on the bank holiday monday?
Cheers all...

Thanks for the kind sentiments! Yes, it's got most of the goodies off Litchfield's extras list, and the seats are particularly nice - soft leather, hand-stitched, and you don't move around in them either. The write-up might take an ickle bit of time as there's quite a saga associated with owning one of these things, but I'll try and remember to get something posted. What questions did you have?
