Wrong turn in Albuquerque.....

Post by Anonymous »

I think I might have made a wrong turn back in Albuquerque (old skool Loony Toons fans will understand), but I figured I'd say hi anyway.

My wee Rex may be U-L-G-Y ugly! But she's my baby. She's a tired little car (sleeps a lot ) I try to keep her a bit more low key than Kev's beautiful ride.

Not sure what she's got under the hood (damn hood pins are child proof)

Have a look see.....

The only other pic i have of the car is when it had 1 me power (I had to push her around)!

Hello and welcome, what are your plans for the car - I guess an engine transplant is on the cards as you've removed the old one :)

Well, if I could figure out those hood pins, I should find a B-Series under the hood. Speeking of which.... why do you call them hood pins when they are pinning down a "bonnet?"

Back to the motor.... when I get the growing pains figured out on this motor, I'll be investing some time (not money, cause it's already spent it on the parts) in making it a wee bit spin happy.... that's the problem when you have a FWD car.

I'm keeping the car a flat black because I think it's a slimming color on the already 850K chassis.

I'm lookin for 13s on the drag, but I'd like to get into autocross...

Just out of curiocity.... what is big power? Is it high BHP period or power to weight ratio? Cause a 300 HP CRX would do well against say a 400 HP Supra. What do you all thinK?
