Hi all

Post by Cornelius »

Dynamix persuaded me to sign up, so here I am!!

My car is a Subaru Impreza WRX V-Limited (MY'96) which I blew the engine up going to Nurburgring earlier this year(oil pump failure), now it's back and I personally rebuilt the engine with an American 2.5 STI block, with reliabilty in mind and now it's back better than ever.

Mods are
2.5 Block
full stainless steel decat jap spec exhaust, including headers
440 injectors
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Custom made induction kit and pipework
Front mount intercooler
Electronic boost controller
Apexi Power FC ECU with commander
Roger Clark modified oil pump
Greddy Oil catch tank
Water Injection
TD05 Turbo
330 big brake conversion.

I've only done 1 RWYB at Santa pod, but am now hooked especially as I beat a V8 powered Ultima on my old engine, can't wait to see what the new one can do!!!

its a bit of a big image - you might want to shrink it down a bit so it doesnt look so bitty.

Welcome across. I've heard that the 2.5 is the way forwards with Imprezas. Nurburgring failure! I bet that made you think eh Dunk? :? Glad to hear you got it sorted though.
