Terrible news, however without the full details it's so hard to comment. I remember a similar accident in cambridge when I lived there - three police cars were practising pursuit driving - came round a bend and hit a queue of traffic waiting to go through roadworks killing a nurse.

But really where can they train?

fail to see why they need to 'test' Vascar??
its been around since Fred Flintstone was a boy (invented by his grandad i think!!) and is simply a glorified stopwatch with a mileometer attatched............

involves flicking a couple of switches on and off??

if they were only road testing it why was it a head on crash :? again police who carnt drive.
