I dont really have a lot to offer you guys as you seem to do a lot of work yourselves and so I tend to read a lot more than I write, I like to read how people get the mods fitted and what adaptions were needed to make things fit etc.

and I like reading the reviews of the events you get to, I would like to do a trackday sometime, but need to sort the suspension on my car first. Also it would be my first ever and you know what the first time is like, a bit daunting. Mind you, might be over quite quickly, I dont know...

daunting ... - I laugh in the face of danger - but really - I'm always terrfied when I head out onto the track - once you get the sighting lap done, it's all good (prior to that I think i'm ready to chuck!)

lol thats how I felt about going up the drag strip, i was fine up until i started queing, then you get to the line, do your run and at the end I really enjoyed it and wanted to go again. I think its the mind messing about, making a bigger deal than it is.

I assume that since this is a multi-manufacturer car forum the posts will be less since people will post the majority of their replies / threads on their car specific car forums ?

Good point, but that is one of the things we set out to do differently.

I love just about anything that has the ability to quicken my automotive pulse but sometimes feel out of place turning up on a model specific forum and joining in if I don't own or have never owned that car. Here, we're all onboard for the same reasons I hope. I have spoken to a few members on here that enjoy the environment as they feel happier to ask 'newb' style questions whether that's on car spec, driving characteristics etc.

Plus, we can all learn new ideas that work for different manufacturers/people and adapt those for our own vehicles and driving.

I like the fact that this place is multi-manufacturer. If I want specific info i'll go to the SXOC still. But the threads on Driftworks have given me knowledge of many more different cars that just my S14.

I'm hoping that this site will teach me even more! So far I have seen some very intersting looking cars on here!
