A BIG thank you

To Gary from Refined Reflections.

Whilst you lot were swanning it about up and down airstrips today, Gary kindly gave up Tea and gossip duties to help me out of a pickle.

I have hopefully sold both my Audi and the Mini of which the Audi goes tomorrow at around midday - fingers crossed - and I had previously arranged for a local place to valet the car ready for the new owner. However with my operation being more painful than I imagined I didnt get the car to them on friday and was reading Big Power and the penny dropped that maybe Gary could help. I want to use him on the Porsche when it arrives next week anyways so thought it would give me an opportunity to meet him and have a chat. He duly said he was up for a sunday of work and dirt and sure enough he was here at 9am as promised, jet wash and generator at the ready.

9 hours :o :o :o later the Audi looked like a new car inside and out, the Mini had also been done isnide and out and he had even managed to clean, wax and wheel prep the Evo so Karen could go to work in a shiney car for once - she hardly ever cleans a car that girl !!  - and what deep lustrous shines they all now have.

So a massive thank you to him, his rates are very competitive for the time and care he puts into it and he seems as upbeat about cleaning other peoples cars as i am about giving them a caning !!! :D :D :D

Im sure he has taken a couple of piccies, but the results were pretty good, I knew Pearl black looked nice, I'd just forgotten HOW nice !!

Cheers,

J.

He is definitely the man for the job. Just as well you asked Gary now as I know his work load is increasing exponentially (I had alphabet soup yesterday ;) )
Good luck with the sale J, at least you won't ayone trying to knock you down becasue the cars are ropey!

Keep us posted on the GT3 too :thumb:

Indeed I am,

Although rather subdued that I cant take it on thrashes straight away until my foots a bit better !!

I put a deposit down on a GT3 at my local OPC a couple of years ago when the Bomber was being its most unhelpful. Stupidly I let my sensible head (and her in draws) talk me out of it, which would have meant only 8k depreciation and lots of happy, hopefully trouble free miles of fun in 2.5years ownership. Still I can have one now and I cant wait to take it on track to see if the handling is as precise and pin sharp as I remember.

Wooohoooooooo !!

:D :D :D

WOW - incredible - now you've made me think - a great present for my mum for chrissy would be a valet !! ...

I wouldn't buy that allroad - it's uses bricks instead of a handbrake :)
