So sorry Michael to have read this, really feel gutted for you. The car was looking and sounding so good at the meet on weds.

If there is anything any of us can do I'm sure all you have to do is ask.

Sorry just realised that its posted in the members area.

Unfortunately it appears that a Land-rover Defender didn't like his car and smashed into it, also causing Michael's car to hit railings lamp post etc on the opposite side.

That beautifully prepared Scooby now looks like it did a few rounds with Tyson and Tyson won, some serious damage though looks on the face of it that its repairable.

Hopefully Michael will post and explain it better, till then as I said so sorry Michael :(

Thanks for the support everyone :) Its greatly appreciated.

Regarding the SC thread, it was in general but in hindsight though it best be moved to members only on so asked for it to be moved.

I was coming off a roundabout and the land rover that I thought must have been turning left as he joined the roundabout when I was coming off and signalling left kept going straight. Complicated story so thats the brief version. Better not say too much as I don't know whats happening next with claims etc.

Heres a few pics of the damage:

I'm ok, bit shook up, cut to my ear from the glass and a few bumps and cuts, jarred back a bit too, but other than that fairly unscathed. Didn't feel much like driving home though afterwards!

Oh yes, and got home and started finding lumps of glas in my hair! LOL! Trying not to get too upset by it all. Not easy, but I find vodka helps :D

Scoobyclinic have taken delivery (again!) and have been very supportive and helpful, even got a cup of tea! :D

PS Regarding the title of the thread, I've not actually cried yet ... ;) Although TBH not been too far off a few times today.

As I said in SC, I'm gutted for you Michael, it has happened to me in the past and I know how you must be feeling. You'll be back better than before

Really sorry to hear about this, I think a lot of us will have had close calls from similar situations, scary what can happen in a split second... You aren't hurt which is the important thing, I hope the car gets back to it's former glory soon :)
