Just been thinking with all the muscle on here, what is the fastest speed you have been, weather you were driving or as a passenger.
Of course you can only say about the speeds you have done on the privet roads we all no!
I'll start it off, I have been 168 mph in a 515 bhp cossie, this was reading on his very accurate stack dash. And around 160 mph in a R32 I no and love! :P
I'm sure your all about to say faster though

160.5 mph on Bruntingthorpe proving ground 8)
I was the driver, and it was in the GTO 8)
Measured by some satellite timing gear... amazing how quick you run out of 'road' and how what appear to be good brakes on the road are not so good at this sort of speed :?

Flat out in a TVR Cerbara 4.5. Indicated speed of 175. manufacturers top speed claimed at 182.
I did also once take my Scooby off the clock - the needle was on the stop. I beleive the actual top speed of the car was 144.
