Well was out in the tank last night driving down a 30 MPH section of dual carriage way, to be honest I was speeding I was doing about 45-50 ish! Only as I was heading towards the end section of the road just before a roundabout someone pulled out in front of me. So as I swerve round the car as I'm leaning on the horn and swerve back in front of him just before the roundabout. Continue driving over the roundabout only to hear some police sirens heading my way, next thing over the brow of the hill comes a ford focus with its blue lights on!

The copper asks me to get out of the car, and as I'm walking round the car and only the path he cautions me :( thought thats a bit OTT for speeding!
The copper than says that from what he just saw he was going to do me for speeding, driving without due care and attention, and dangerous driving!! (oh SHIT!). The copper then went through all the traffic laws I just broke, he said that I was driving like a 'bat outta hell' I looked at the car (Rover 400 GSDI) and thought to myself, well you should have seen that maneuvre if I was driving the evo! I agreed with the copper that it probably wasn't the best bit of driving I had ever done in my life and so he asked to see my paperwork!

As I'm leaning through the car to get my documents out of the glove box he opens the car door to speak to all my passengers and asks them if they felt safe in the car with my driving? Everyone replied that they didn't think it was that bad, if anything the bloke who cut me up could have caused more of an accident! With that the copper proceeds to say that the ban for dangerous driving was a minimum of 1 year let alone taking into account the other offences I'd just committed!

At this point the copper looked familiar to me, I said to him 'do I know you from somewhere' he replied 'no I dont think so!' I said 'no I really recognise your face I'm sure I used to work with you'. To that he said 'yea, now you mention it your name was rob wasn't it, used to work in Sainsbury

Well mate - let it be lesson ... DON'T get caught. But seriously, take it easy, a year of no driving would be hell !!!.

Easier to reason with a real copper than with a camera on a stick as well. Great result Evo. 8)
