My logger is hooked up all the time, I definately get fewer counts of knock with 99, however when it was tweaked on the rolling road the guy suggested that every 4th tank was Optimax due to it having better detergents.
Hopefully it's just a temporary 'glitch' at Tesco's

i have heard from a lot of people that although its 99ron it hasnt really got the qualities that optimax has got.... so that why i just stuck with it

Im sure I read somewhere that someone did some back to back power runs on a roller with all the fuels in a Scooby and the best performance came from Optimax but only just, the Tesco 99 was second best but voted overall winner as it was cheaper,

have to say my car has run well on 99. runs like a bag of nails on 95 though

wont be doing that again, but it beats pushing the car to the next garage.
Phil I used it when it was at Bluebell road/fiveways, then suddenly they stopped doing it. maybe they are trialling it in areas, dunno for sure. It would be good to have it a blue boar too though
