Not sure what video you were linking to maff as it’s been removed. I’m guessing it was to do with Mercedes DAS system?
I look forward to seeing how it works out during a race weekend :lurk5:
I can’t help but feel sorry for poor old grosjean. I know he has quite the record, but Gunter’s comment about racing point picking up points in every race depends on Grosjean, was a little harsh
It’s seems odd having watched the testing over the last couple of days yet sat here on a Saturday afternoon and there’s been no qualifying.

I made a statement a few years back when the cars first went over to the hybrid’s about the noise - or rather lack of not being a problem........I take it all back.
We did the British GP in 2018 (having not been for many years) and even though the cars are louder than they were, still completely lacked the chest pounding noise of the old V10’s or V8’s. When the (good) old cars had been round for demo laps the difference was night and day and meant some of the drama being track side was missed.
Still can’t wait for things to get going again for another season

It was a live broadcast of the testing day 1.

But yeah that DAS looks mad. Love all the new innovations each year, must be the biggest one since blown wings or maybe the f-duct.

the F duct was a really smart device that was put on the cars

heard redbull are really going to stand there ground on the DARS and get it banned
